Red Wolf Captive Breeding Facilities

The Red Wolf Species Survival Plan (RWSSP) functions primarily through the cooperative efforts of approved zoos and nature centers across the country. These facilities provide captive breeding and management, which allow for public education about red wolves while simultaneously promoting genetic diversity to conserve the species and support the wild population when the need arises. Below you will find a list and an interactive map of all RWSSP facilities along with detailed information about each place.
